WEST WALES RAIDERS ADD WELSH INTERNATIONAL VITALINI TO THEIR SQUAD

West Wales Raiders are pleased to announce that Chris Vitalini has returned to Wales and will play for the Raiders in the Betfred League 1 this coming season.

The strong powerful runner from Newport has played for 3 sides in league 1, Gloucestershire All Golds, South Wales Scorpions/ Ironmen and most recently Coventry Bears, he has played in league 1 since 2012

The forward has also played four times for Italy taking on Germany, Russia, Serbia and Ukraine between the years of 2012-2014.

More recently Vitalini was selected as part of the Welsh squad for the European Championships and was part of the match day squad who took on France at Carcassonne.

Head coach Kim Williams added “I’m extremely happy to have Chris on board for season 2019. His vast experience at League 1 level will be a great asset to our squad and I am looking forward to seeing him further develop his game as well as mentor the younger players around him. I expect him to be a key player for us as the year progresses.
